Boat Reconditioning

The ShaxShop specialises in reconditioning older top-end boats with the goal of restoring more value to the boat than the price of the reconditioning itself. Most top-end boats sustain their racing pedigree for years, but accumulate dings and scratches along with UV fading of clear coat surfaces that make them look slower than they truly are. Furthermore, boats with numerous patches and light damage are often handled with less care than new-looking boats. Renewing your boat's look and replacing the fittings, will often improve how your club/team members care for the boat and make the boat popular for racing again.

The table below provides estimates for our reconditioning work based on the size of the hull. These numbers assume no major repairs are required. If there is additional repair required beyond sanding, priming, and painting, that would involved charges in addition to these numbers. On the other hand, you can receive discounts for removing fittings and striping yourself and saving us the time of having to do so.
