Boat Repairs

Tom and Tony have nearly ten years of professional boat repair experience between the two of them. Tom was trained at the repair shop at the Sykes factory in Geelong, Australia. With his more than seven years in the boatbuilding business, he has accumulated a lot of knowledge about materials and boat construction.

Tony started working on rowing boat repairs in early 2008, having been skill carpenter and mechanic in the preceding years.

While we specialise in parts for overseas-makes, we repair boats of all makes and models. We particularly love badly damaged elite boats where aligment, weight, stiffness, and appearance all matter. In these cases, typically, we remake the damaged part in a mould we make and use just the right amount of reinforcing to make the boat stiffer and stronger than previously without adding noticeable weight.
